Tengda is one of our favorite places to eat because raw fish is one thing our son is not allergic to. This week, with some family friends, we took the leap to hibachi.
We had enough people to have a grill to ourselves. We all agreed to eat only items our son could eat so that he could fully enjoy the hibachi experience. The hard part would be conveying my sons’s list of allergies to our hibachi chef to ensure a danger-free dinner.
Our food allergy aware, epi pen trained waitress was one of the best we’ve ever had, anywhere. She took our food allergy and cross contamination concerns seriously and made sure to double and triple check the ingredients used in all the meals. Most important though was the effort she took to mark sure that our son felt safe and comfortable. All of her efforts, and those of everyone at Tengda, were very much appreciated.
For its continued efforts to be allergy friendly, Tengda gets the first ever two thumbs up!
